Hello! I am Sandy.

I am an early-career plant scientist and an advocate for the conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture. Currently, I am pursuing my doctoral studies at the Institute of Plant Genetics at Heinrich-Heine Universität in Düsseldorf, Germany. My research focuses on the ecological genetics of Hordeum murinum populations in Europe. Additionally, I am a member of the DSI scientific network.
